A multi location audit should not begin with one average visibility score. Each branch has a different service mix, coverage area, review profile and operational capacity.
Build a verified location register
Record the official name, address, phone, opening hours, service area, categories, profile owner and website URL for every branch. This becomes the reference for corrections.
Check the role of each location page
A useful page explains the services available, evidence for the local team, practical coverage and the correct action. Thin pages that only change the place name create little value.
Review profile accuracy and ownership
Confirm categories, services, links, images, messages and duplicate profiles. Ownership should sit with the organisation, not an unavailable former supplier.
Compare reviews with service reality
Review volume matters, but the language inside reviews can also reveal which services, people and locations are earning trust. Build a process for requesting and responding without manipulation.
Connect leads to branch outcomes
Calls and forms should record branch, service, area and result where possible. This separates visibility that creates booked work from visibility that creates poor fit demand.
The final audit should produce a branch level correction plan and a shared operating standard. Central consistency and local usefulness need both be present.
